Most people who walk in have put the visit off, sometimes for years, usually because they expect it to hurt. So the first thing we do is look properly — with imaging taken here — and tell you the truth about what we find, including when the answer is "leave it alone and keep an eye on it".
Then you get a written plan with costs. You decide what to do and when. If money is the constraint, say so — there is almost always a staged approach that deals with the urgent thing first.
Because people are right to ask. Instruments go through N-class and B-class autoclaves, UV chambers, an ultrasonic cleaner and glass bead sterilisers. Everything is packed and sealed in individual pouches, opened in front of you, to prevent cross-infection.
